Church Photography Ban List
When getting married at a church I would strongly advise both the Bride and Groom to be check with the priest directly regarding photography access.
Some priests will not allow any photography to take place during the wedding service. This means that you will miss out on those very special moments during the service like giving of the rings, the little glances between the bride and groom, the first steps as husband and wife, the kiss, the tears of emotion.
This ban on photograhy is nothing to do with the church or any church guidlines this is purely down to the priests own discretion. So please check as early as possible when booking the church that photography access will be granted clearly stating what you want on your wedding day.
Let's not forget when you pay to hire a church the church is entering into a legal contract to provide you with said service as stated between both parties so make crystal exactly what you want on the big day and what access and pictures you expect.
Below are a list of church's that will not allow photography to take place during the service.
St Mary's Church, Eston Sqaure, Eston, Middlesbrough
Busy getting some new effects and techniques ready for the impending wedding season. I have been tweaking my black and white work to include painting with light using a technique that combines both dodging and burning in work see below for some examples. These shot where taken at Guisborough Hall the wedding of Mr & Mrs Dalton.
