Digital Dennis Gets The Royal Treatment

Finally after many years I have joined up with a professional organisation.

I have just become a member of the Royal Photographic Society they are a fantastic organisation very supportive to it's members. This will allow me to gain recognition for my work on a wider client base across the UK not only for my wedding work but for my portraits, landscape and commercial work too.

Also being a member of the Royal Photographic Society will give additional coverage to my work being available to a wider audience and will allow me to enter some very well known competitions allowing me to build up the Digital Dennis brand.

The Royal Photographic Society was founded in 1853 'to promote the Art and Science of Photography', a mission it continues to this day in the United Kingdom and through its considerable overseas membership making it the largest organisation for professional photographers here in the UK and world wide.

I am both proud and honoured to become a member.

2009 Wedding Season Is Upon Us

Well getting ready for another wedding season this year is looking fantastic also 2010 booking are coming in thick and fast too.

This year will see the release of a brand new product range based around acrylic floaters also a new album to the existing range will be coming later this year busy in talks with several album companies who want me to use their albums Graphi, Mario Acerboni and GF Smith. I will let you know more over the coming months on this.

Also some new equipment will be used this year to open up some new creative potential and avenues for my client base across not only weddings but portraits and commercial work too.

Finally I will also be joined up with a very well know organisation more on this to come.

Saltburn By The Sea In All It's Moody Glory

As mentioned earlier in my blog I spent some time over the last weekend at Saltburn By The Sea taking some well earned landscape shots. By way of relaxing and preparing for the on coming wedding season. It was a dull moody day very little going on and little clouds detail in the sky I bumped into another Flickr member from one of the Flickr groups I belong to called Cleveland Camera Club he had travelled up from London for the weekend called Code Dude. Anyway as we stood on the pier talking the sky began to open up spilling light down over the sea line below are some of the shots taken.

A shot taken down the pier the sky was stunning.

This is a delayed timer shot to capture the water silky smooth I love the mood on this shot.

The Lonely Walk

Below is a shot from a set taken at Saltburn By The Sea I spent nearly an hour and a half waiting for just the right shot. It was really busy this day with a lot of visitors to the main pier after what seemed like an eternity a man and his dog strolled by the perfect shot unfolded.

I call this The Lonely Walk it just has that relaxed, calming feeling about it see below to see what I mean.

This is one of my favourite shots taken on the day I will be posting some of the other shots taken shortly so watch this space.

Audi Ago Go

Spent some time down at Saltburn By The Sea this last weekend doing some new shots of Saltburn Pier on the way back stopped off to take a couple of shots of my new Audi.

A moody black and white shot.

Fantastic car and my business being success has allowed me a little perk of the job plus the high mileage I do travelling around doing weddings across the Middlesbrough and Cleveland area's a reliable car is a necessity for the business.

Quantum Of Solace

I have been enjoying the calm before the storm with the wedding season about to kick in to action so I have been out doing some landscape work my mental solace time if you will. Below are some of the highlights.

This shot was taken at the breakers which are at the top end of Redcar highstreet.

Another shot from the breakers

This shot was taken at Skinningrove.

Another shot from taken on the very end of the pier from the shot above again at Skinningrove.

All in all a nice day if not very cold still winter winds abound.
