Breaking news brand new website design I have now updated my website with a new look and made a few changes suggested by you the customer.
The new site is far easier to navigate and I have changed to a more traditional navigation across the bottom of the site. Also the we blinks across the site have been made more prominent so links can easily be seen now.
The package pages have also been updated and additional tweaks will be made over the next couple of weeks. Finally don't forget to take a look at my FLICKr a link to this is provided on my main gallery page.

Hello every one unfortunetly the Landscape Shop has been postponed for a little while due to heavy work load with wedding and portrait work.

Online Print Preview Online Shop Expansion Planned
Work is on going with the new online preview shop for Digital Dennis and is proving a massive success thank you to all my customers for your support and help.
When this shop is fully open another shop is being developed for Peach Pictures along with a complete over hual of this site to now provide a online portal to view and purchase my landscape work and limited edition prints more updates on this when the final arrangements have been confirmed.

Brand New Online Preview & Print Shop Goes Live
Well finally with all you help I am now live with a brand new online preview and print shop. After feedback and more importantly support from my customers this is now reality.
The new preview shop will now allow not only online previewing of photographs but also online ordering of prints available in different sizes so family an friends can now order there wanted pictures at will.
The online shop will expand over the next 2-3 years to offer an increased product range that will be second to none but more importantly to offer my customers the same level of service with online prints as they already recieve from photography bookings and services bringing together the complete package.
In future post I will keep you upto date with whats new with the online shop, special deals, new products and so on so watch this space.

Firstly I would like to apologise for taking so long to write to you. I have had over a month now to try and think of something to say that rounds up our feelings about our wonderful photographs of our wedding. I just cant seem to find the right words! So, I will explain how we feel.
I originally booked the smaller package with you as I did not think that the photographs were a hugely important part of our wedding. I was stunned at the price and snapped your hand off to book when I knew you where available on our wedding date.
All the way through the planning I still had an attitude that the photographs still were not a huge part of our wedding, then I looked on your website and looked at some of the recent weddings and thought that I have been planning our wedding for the past 2 years and the only thing I will have to remember it by is my photographs and we were very impressed by the samples on the site.
The day we met to pay the balance we chatted and you mentioned the storybook, my eyes lit up and once you had gone both me and Michael looked at each other and Wanted It!!! I phoned you and ordered it and then got to work on my overtime to pay for it ( we thought it was to good to be true for the price you were charging ). Every hour I worked of overtime is worth it for what we got.
You were so supportive in the weeks before the wedding calling to check everything, not leaving anything out and basically reassuring me ( I really really needed that and am so very greatful ). On the day you arrived before me and when I got back you said you had taken a few to suprise me, then you just casually took photos of all the bits leading up.
I think if you hadn't of been there I would of felt more nervous and stressed. The photos you took before we got ready especially the ones of me and the girls were fabulous. The ones of Michael and the Lads were Brilliant, the ones of all the guests, the ones of me arriving, the ones of me walking up to the church, the ones in the church, outside the church in the carriage, on the green, at the reception, every single photograph you took was sensational.
I was amazed that by the time we had opened our gifts the morning after the wedding, our photographs were on the site to choose from. You had spent hours and hours on them, taking off Latisha's cut on her nose, my tattoo, Jaden's bump, etc! It was so hard to choose as there were so many, but after hours of changing our minds we decided and sent you the email! Then by the time we had arrived home from our honeymoon our albums were ready! You even made the time to have a chat with us and to see our reaction when you delivered our albums.
We were not ready for what we were about to see, after looking at the little album I was mesmerised by the quality and at how amazing they were then I opened the briefcase to find some stunning photographs that you had "tweaked" and then we started to look at our storybook album, the pages were full of detail, and effects and they were of our wedding.
For days and days I just kept looking and noticing different things you had done, different effects you had made. I am so so very proud of my photographs and every person who has looked at them are amazed! My framed picture has taken its place on our wall ( infact about 15 mins after you left it did! ) and everyone who comes into our house comments on it, and to top the whole package off we have the DVD and negatives on disk.
You made our day Dennis. You have captured our Special Day in the most beautiful, elegant and stunning way that we did not think was possible.

Cold Morning Blues

Busy doing some landscape work at last now the winter months are coming in and weddings are settling down. So there I was at Saltburn Pier 1.30am taking pictures why this time of morning you ask? Because this is the best light for this kind of work and as you can see it was well worth it. Between the hours of 1.00am - 4.45am over 60 shots where taken more of these are available to view on my FLICKR gallery.

Story Book Range Due To Expand
BREAKING NEWS :
Due to popular demand and intense customer interest the existing STORY BOOK range will be expanding later this year to offer 2 ranges.

- Range 1 will be the PASTEL range.
- Range 2 will be the CHALK range.
Both ranges are totally different yet compliment each other perfectly the pastel range offering smooth modern design with a very sheik style. The new chalk range much more intense combining texture with mood for those of you with a darker side.
The new chalk range will not be available till early 2008 the new designs are about 60% complete then a demonstration album will be put together.

Story Book Goes Limited
Thank you for all your support I am delighted to report the new StoryBook is no going limited.
The StoryBook booking will now be limited to a maximum of two bookings in a calendar month this has been done to provide and maintain high customer service. I am busy working towards this fantastic package being available normally but at present booking for the new StoryBook will be limited.
Also in development is the possibility of a new Deluxe StoryBook design with a completely new style and design this will go alongside the more traditional StoryBook but this is some time away and a release date has to be confirmed.

After much deliberation substantial investment has been made regarding the very best in optics with the new addition of the Nikkor 17-55mm f/2.8G ED-IF AF-S DX.
So the none technical answer is this is regarded as one of the best camera lenses Nikon have ever made world wide which now allows me to offer both my clients and customer the very best in image quality from both hardware and hands on software development this combined with my own expertise is really going to allow me to spoil my customer's rotten.

Story Book Range Increased
BREAKING NEWS the STORY BOOK range has now been expanded with brand new colour tints now available these include :

St James & Marters End Of An Era
The history books have now been written and I have had the pleasure of photographing the last wedding to be held at St James & Marters Church in Stockton on Tees opposite Stockton Hospital. This is a real tragedy due to the church being scheduled for demolition this has always been one of my favourite church's due to the interior of the church looking more Italian than English. The last wedding was the marriage of Mr & Mrs Stevenson on Saturday 23rd June 2007.
Bride And Groom Church Venue Guidlines
When getting married and thinking about the appropriate venue there are several very important things to think about regarding church weddings.
I have had this happen on several occasions ending with the bride and groom being disappointed with both the church and the vicar due to the loss of so many special moments not being able to be captured. I would urge vicars to really think about what is important to the bride and groom this is the one and only chance they have to get married and what makes them happy on that big day should always come first over personal preference.
So always ask before booking a church venue to avoid disappointment.
- Check with the priest about photographers some church's even in this day and age still will not allow professional photographers to take photographs during the service.
- There is no valid reason for this and most of the time this is not down to the church it's down to the individual vicar doing the service.
- If this is the case consider the photographs that will be lost this would include the vows, little looks between the bride and groom, giving of the wedding rings, holding of hands, the wedding kiss amongst other shots.
- If the photographer is not allowed to take those all important shots then you may need to reconsider an alternative venue. If you don't ask about this you will not be informed by the vicar till on the day or last minute by this time the wedding day is set in stone.
- ALWAYS ASK ABOUT WHAT CAN AND CANT BE ALLOWED WITH THE PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER.

I am based in Middlesbrough but I will travel any where with in the Cleveland county and depending on the nature of work required I will go as far as Newcastle or as far as York in the other direction but this mainly depends on the work needed to be done.
I also pride my self on the fact that I will come to see you. I have multiple demonstration albums and portfolios for my clients to view alongside additional online examples as and when needed or requested by the customer.

In The Beginning
I have been busy putting the finishing touches to my new story book package. Designing page layouts and graphics so that the album flows from start to finish. Also been working on offering different colour styles for customer to choose from. These include classic black & white, cool tone, cyanotype, gold tone, red tone, selenium tone and finally viradon tone.
I really want to give my customer a really nice classy choice of colour styles each being unique and different whilst blending old and forgotten techniques that are no longer used in the digital age of photography. I am really happy with the new album just need to put the finishing touches to the demo album for my customers to be able to play with I do hope they like it?
I have really positive feedback so far and more importantly this album is unique too many photographers do their albums the easy way and go to people like Graphi Studio or Jorgenson yes they are nice albums but also very expensive I feel this had led to a lot of photographers packages now becoming very similar to each other. I don't think this benefits the customer photography should be all about individuality not becoming another sheep in the field customers want to be treated as individuals and like to have some thing unique not mass produced.

Landcape Shots At Redcar Gare
Was out early out of the morning back in January of this year taking landscape shots down at Redcar Gare. Got to be careful down here can get washed over the edge all it takes is one big wave and I learnt the hard way nearly 2 years ago now when I was hit by a wave and nearly swept over the edge ended up loosing an excellent Fuji compact camera that day.

Congratulations to Ann and Glynn on becoming Mr and Mrs Oram. Really enjoyed spending the day with you both thank you for making me feel welcome. Hope you enjoy your photographs and they bring back many happy memories for you. Also you heard about your photograph appearing in the local Evening Gazette and the Herald And Post I see glad you like the photograph.
