Strobist Get's Strobistonline

Been really busy this month launching a brand new website Strobistonline. This site is to showcase the very best work by UK's top strobist photographers whilst also providing much need help & tips and support. This will include tutorials, news, supplier help and much more so to see more click this link Click Here To Go To Strobistonline.

What are strobist photographers ? Strobist is a term used for photographers who use wireless lighting setups. This allows photographers to setup controlled lighting absolutely any where. No matter where the photographer is he can setup a lighting studio this gives photographers incredible flexibility. This is massive in America but over here in the UK is it just starting to take off in a big way I myself specialise in Strobist Lighting alongside more traditional studio lighting.

I use a mixture of Elinchrom lighting for a studio setup or a location where mains power is available but to due the bulk and the equipment I try to use my Strobist setup where possible this allows me a much lighter setup and I don't need to rely on mains power. My setup consists of several Nikon SB800's and several SB600's they are either triggered using Nikon's CLS system or by using Elinchrom's Skyport Triggers.

The end line is high quality images with out having to use much larger lighting equipment with out sacrificing work or image quality and end results.
